Quick Guide
Three steps for laboratory preparation.
Reconstitute
Draw your reconstitution solution into a laboratory syringe. Insert into the peptide vial and release slowly along the glass wall. Let it sit — don't shake it. A gentle swirl is fine.
Calculate
Plug in the vial mass, solution volume added, and the target aliquot for your research protocol. The calculator returns the volume to draw.
Aliquot
Pull back to the unit mark shown above. Clean the vial stopper with a laboratory wipe before and after each aliquot to maintain sample integrity.
After You Reconstitute
Proper storage maintains sample stability.
Refrigerate immediately
2–8°C (36–46°F). Standard refrigerator temperature. Not the freezer.
Stable for ~30 days
Once reconstituted, use within a month. Lyophilized vials last much longer stored cool and dry.
Use reconstitution solution, not sterile water
Reconstitution solution contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol which inhibits bacterial growth across multiple aliquots.
Keep it dark
Avoid direct sunlight and heat. A refrigerator shelf works. Don't leave vials out on a bench.
